Move over, microdermabrasion – microhydrabrasion is here!

What is the difference between microdermabrasion and microhydrabrasion?

Old-style microdermabrasion treatments use a wand with an exfoliating crystal tip. Whilst effective at rejuvenating the skin, it often causes irritation for people with sensitive skin.

Microhydrabrasion is a far gentler form of exfoliation – as well as being more hygienic – and is suitable for all skin types.

At Rubywaxx, we want everyone to have an enjoyable exfoliation experience; for this reason, we only use microhydrabrasion treatments, instead of traditional microdermabrasion.

It’s a far gentler, and more effective way to deep clean your skin’s pores.

Why is it necessary to deep clean the skin’s pores?

Your skin isn’t flat: it has pores and follicles that go deep into the skin, and the daily use of sun block, moisturiser and make-up can easily clog the skin. Dirt, oil and dead skin can get trapped and blockages can occur. Blackheads and pimples are caused from this build up.

Twice daily cleansing and regular exfoliation may keep your skin topically clean, but what about deep down inside the pores and follicles? That’s where microhydrabrasion comes in.

Introducing Microhydrabrasion…

The newest way to ensure you can offer the cleanest possible skin treatment is with new microhydrabrasion. This system exfoliates the skin with diamonds while simultaneously vacuuming and washing it. It’s a lot like getting your carpets professionally cleaned. You’ll have the cleanest skin ever after this treatment!

Pores and follicles need to be cleaned from the inside. MINIVAC system effectively vacuums the skin to deeply clean it. The MINIVAC system offers both a dry and wet exfoliation.

To deliver the most effective treatment, the Microhydrabrasion system uses purified water to clean instantly cool, soothe and hydrate the skin. This creates a truly soothing, refreshing treatment. Microhydrabrasion makes other skin treatments more effective, plus it refines your skin’s texture and clears blocked pores.

Microhydrabrasion makes aggressive microdermabrasion treatments a thing of the past!

What makes Microhydrabrasion treatments different from other skin treatments?

Microhydrabrasion is a far more thorough skin treatment than a facial, yet it’s far more gentle a treatment than a skin peel. Microhydrabrasion achieves the same kind of deep cleaning as a microdermabrasion treatment, but is far gentler.

Microhydrabrasion has no contraindications, doesn’t hurt, is non-irritating, and is safe for everyone.

Best of all, the treatment itself only lasts 30 minutes, so it doesn’t take too much time out of your day! You’ll be left with radiant skin that’ll re-energise your look.
